Seriously WTF?

This movie was terrible, too many things left up in the air, problem solved too quickly, too many lines that were ridiculous and unbelievable ( who thinks about a paper they have due when a schizophrenic madman has you hostage??) I wish they would have elaborated on what was up with the parents, what happened to the old babysitter Ect. I didn't like the ending ether, it just didn't fit or make sense. I mean wouldn't the babysitter's parents be looking for her if they are so strict? I blame the writer on this one.

I thought it had potential, but the ending is what ruined it for me.

Yes, it could have been a very good movie. I feel like the writer wanted too much left up to the viewers imagination, which would have been fine if there was more back story about Jack and more information had been given about the parents and the true nature of jack's situation.

So many random questions:
What kind of pizza place delivers at the brink of dawn? (The pizza they had in the beginning was not delivery, it was Digiorno lol)
Why did he order two pies if he wasn't giving them any?
Why did all their children including the 6 year old need medication?
Why didn't the parents institutionalize him when he set a dog on fire or maybe when he cut off his brothers ear?
Why did they have the youngest go to a birthday party and leave the babysitter there with two teenage boys? They should have at least made the middle child a little younger and less pervy.
Why was the woman who brought the little girl back, so interested in going in their house that she was willing to leave her "little angel" in the car by herself?
