I have Given up On This One!

The last "The Firm" that I watched was a couple of weeks ago (when it moved to Saturday night) and I couldn't even finish it. Josh Lucas has a voice that grates on my nerves -- purely personal; Juliette Lewis and her outlandish gesticulations are unnerving. Sorry, they'd best finish up the mess on Saturday night and thank God when the last one is on the air: I don't say viewed because there probably are not very many people viewing it. I love John Grisham and his books. But someone really messed up on this television show. Oh well, lots of good ones out there so I don't have to waste time on one that is totally sophomoric.

This show confuses the hell out of me. Every episode starts off with it being three weeks earlier. Last week's ep started off with the assassins walking to the house. This week's ep starts with them getting to the house. Both eps were three weeks earlier.

I give up on the show too.

agree that THE FIRM as a show is very confusing

i've read almost every book John Grisham has written

i also watched the movie by tom cruise

i really wanted to like THE FIRM as a show

i tried to watch the pilot 3 times but each time i struggle to continue

tonight i finally finished watched the pilot which is episode 1 & 2 and boy, unlikely for me to continue watching any more episode because this going backand forth with the plot just don't work for me

LOST was filmed this way and much as the story is intriguing, i gave up bu season 3

maybe it's just me, not very good at enjoying people flipping the timeline

i prefer something like THE GOOD WIFE, The CLOSER etc
