Realizing the show is cancelled I came back to find out what is the purpose of this so called mission.

Why is killing apparently innocent people something that soldiers who have chosen and sacrificed to defend our country would even consider doing?

Did I miss it? I thought I saw all of them...

There are still six episodes that haven't aired yet, so you haven't seen all of them. It's cancelled, it won't get a second season, but NBC is still airing the rest of season 1 on Saturdays until the end of June.
