Getting Good. So Of Course That Means Cancellation

The show is improbable and histrionic, but, like Deuce Bigelow and the Austin Powers franchise, it has become a guilty pleasure. It is a conspiracy drama in the fine tradition of Prison Break--now there is show loaded with over-the-top factual errors and impossibilities, but it still survived several seasons.

I am going to miss this show. Some Canadian productions--Flashpoint, for example--continue into production for Canadian and international networks for a season or two after the ADHD-infected US audiences lose interest. I hope that we get to see more of the convoluted and unlikely yet incredibly riveting stories unfold.

I am on episode 10 and it is really getting bad.

I am watching it out of pure boredom.

I will be amazed if this gets renewed.

It was already officially cancelled by NBC. It was pretty much a given that it wouldn't be back when they moved it to Saturday after airing the first 6 episodes. They are just airing the last of the 22 episodes. There will be 2 episodes aired tonight, Chapters 17 & 18 out of 22.

He is so terrible to watch but with the addition of the new love interest, I liked the last 2 episodes.

I agree that the story line is getting better, especially with the Chicago mob returning and the heroin cartel, this is the Grisham I like--so much possibility for future shows but they are not to be. The problem is the acting. Josh Lucas is terrible, almost robotic. Molly Parker is one of the most boring actors ever, facial expressions/mannerisms never change from Deadwood, Swingers, etc. Can't imagine why the doctor was drawn to kiss her, she has no sex appeal. I can't imagine how Olyphant stayed involed with her in Deadwood. Ray is the best one on the show.
