What a crushing disappointment

These bastards knew this show wasn't coming back for a long, long time, and they ended it like this?

These people don't care at all for viewers. I invested 22 entire episodes to this tripe, and this is how you pay me back? I want my 22 hours back.

I started this show out with high hopes, and it started out good. Then it got so flipping boring. The insurance storyline was not that interesting, but am a fan of so many of the actors, that I held on. Begrudgingly, I held on.

Then the insurance storyline completed and the Morolto storyline started, and imo, it started getting good again. I felt like if they'd started with the Morolto storyline instead of the viewer-hemorrhaging insurance storyline, the show wouldn't have lost so many viewers.

I came so close to giving up. SO close, but wanted closure.

Silly wabbit. Closure is for real writers.

Building webs is for suckas...

I don't think you really know how these things work. They had already filmed the end by the time it was canceled. You really think NBC was going to give them the go ahead to redo the last episode or two so there would be closure? They had already cancelled it, they didn't care anymore.

Too bad Netlix can't pick the show up. A 12-13 episode second season focusing solely on the Morolto/Russians story would have been great. Then the stuff with the FBI helping the Russians set up Patrick to take the fall for the murder of Charlotte. Could have been damn good television.

But NBC is in like fifth place for a reason. So this getting cancelled isn't a surprise.

I think the cast and producers were aware about 2/3 of the way through shooting that cancellation was quite possible, but obviously they did not want to seal the deal by writing the final episodes as a series finale.
