Ever considered getting off of your armchair on the sidelines and looking yourself?
My guess is that you're still afraid of the possibility, but rather than admit that, it's easier for your to try to convince everyone else to be afraid of the boogeyman (which in your case is public ridicule) so that they will think even looking is a waste of time and may result in public ridicule.
Let's just say given your past history here we're not holding our breath for you though.
