The only part I didn't like...

...Was the rape scene on the living room floor.

I loved all the action, humor, gore, and sexuality. I felt like everything they did was laced with grindhouse fun. The bike on the nun made me cringe with a smile. When the dudes killed their own dad, I laughed and said WTF. When they shot the kid in the back ("I HATE PUPPIES!"), I loved it. It was all great, grimy fun.

EXCEPT the rape scene. The manner in which it was shot was very dark compared to the brevity of the rest of the film. Rather than quick shots with rock out music, the rape scene was drawn out with constant screaming and pleas for mercy. While everything else just felt like bloody fun, the rape scene just seemed disturbing and dark.

My complaint wasn't that the lady was raped. I expected it from this movie. It was just the way it was shot and portrayed that I didn't like. With so many serious acts committed in a wild and wacky manner, I did not expect the suddenly realistic look at rape. It just felt uneven in mood.

My only thought after watching this movie was "What the hell did I just watch?"

Calling someone a pussy for not liking a rape scene says more about your mentality than theirs. Anyone who enjoys watching rape is seriously disturbed
