At around 26:30 Shatner says "Sorry we're filming." And you see Craig Huxley standing outside the elevator. He says, "I'm your nephew." But Shatner doesn't even recognize the poor guy. Awww :)

Lol. I didn't know who he was. That's a bit sad. The scene seemed a bit odd. They had to get his permission to include him in the documentary, so I wonder, did Shatner ever realize who he was? Was it set up?

I think Shatner is a bit senile at this point. Or he's met so many people that he doesn't know who some people are anymore.
shareHe'd have to have. There was a brief scene from behind the scenes at a convention where he didn't recognize a woman he'd met before at another convention.
I think it would be a bit absurd to expect him to remember everyone he'd ever met. Even people who he acted with such as Craig Huxley which was decades ago. The age difference alone might have justified his memory failure.
No random encounter... he knew who he was... that was done on purpose.
