When William is talking to Patrick Stewart about his first performance. He tells him that he was 5-6 years old doing a play at his mothers sister about the Holocaust. In 1937 Bill was 6 years old and the Holocaust was just about to start and non new how horrific it would be. So was Bill making it up? Remember it differently or?

Good catch ... maybe he had been telling people that for a long time to seem younger than we really was, or maybe it was not about the Holocaust, per se, but about the times leading up to it and the dangers for Jews at that time.

IMDB says Shatner was born in 1931 ... so he might have been telling people or trying to imply he was born later to seem younger. Wow, he is 80 years old now.

It is very possible that some of Shatner's admitted inferiority complex came from being Jewish back at that time.
It's amazing how young he looks though he is way too heavy he sure looks in touch with himself and happy.
I caught that too. I said to myself at that point...hang on a second he's 80 years old now (still a crazy fact to wrap your head around) that timeline doesn't fit.

I caught this too, and came here specifically to see what other people thought. Yeah, the timeline just doesn't fit. So is he remembering it wrong or just making it up entirely? Maybe he was more like 10 or 12?
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.
