Patrick Stewart

Absolutely loved the parts with him in it. I loved him as Picard and I'm pleased to hear his acceptance of being known most famously for that role. Hes very graceful about it.

Hes an amazing actor whos done so much-- and yet he knows that this is the role the most will remember him for. I love all the captains- But I think Picard has always been my favorite.

And to think they almost didn't cast him!

Same here! He's my favorite captain, and his parts of this documentary were my favorites. He just seems so kind, genuine, humble, and gracious...and he's quite amusing! I absolutely loved it when his declaration that he'd be perfectly happy for the world to remember him as Jean-Luc Picard prompted Shatner to realize the same thing about Kirk. I can't imagine Star Trek without Stewart...how funny now, to think that in the beginning he'd been so convinced that he was going to fail miserably and be fired, that what they were doing would be unsuccessful! I'm a big Patrick Stewart fan, and have thoroughly appreciated the various other performances of his that I've had the pleasure of seeing. He's a man of extraordinary talent, with a deservedly illustrious career.

I like you, Um. I like largeness...

Agree. Stewart brought a almost noble element to Picard and from then on Star Trek stopped being a cheese sci-fi show.

He's also one of the most fun loving people around. He's amazing
