So nice to watch a finale where you didn't feel dirty for viewing it

No spoilers here

Watched the whole show on the DVR on the week-end and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to see three couples who were on a dating show that actually seemed like they were really dating. My dad used to say either live with a girl for three months or travel with her for one week to get to really know her. This is much more than traveling. I think the show pushes the right buttons to get a relationship going.

****Spoilers for the finale 3 but not the outcome from here:

Ken was the one who set the tone for the whole season. I must say, I was pretty impressed with him as he seems like a "do the right thing" guy. And the fact that Yanina and him are still clearly in love and still dating kinda shows that this show works. (The 2 finalists from last year are still dating, too). There were a lot of complaints about Ken on the other boards which I find kinda shocking. I think it's because so many like dysfunction and personality disorders on their reality show, and the didn't know how to take him. They see him as killing that off. Pretty sad really.

I think the splitting up of Ben and Michelle was exactly was they both needed to push their relationship forward. A little unintentional jealousy is always good for a relationship. (still dating)

I think Chance and Summer started late in their relationship and that's why it was questioned. Most of life isn't so competitive so I think Summer will settle down in their relationship. (still dating)

The team I felt sorry for was Jason and Vanessa. I think they had a chance to be where Michelle and Ben where at the end of the show if they could have stayed on. It was totally selfish of Ali to choose Ben and not just give up when she realized nobody wanted her. But really she didn't seem like a very good person to begin with.

Really a great show for varied audiences. I think you can watch it online pretty easily.

My issue with Ken was that he worried to much about others. Ken nosing in on Jesse's business was unwarranted. So what if they boinked, that was between Jesse and Tara
