How can any one think that this was good?

Like the topic i feel that this film is way over rated.
And i dont care that the hero is female. there are plenty of female ass kicking Heroines.
So lets start at the beginning. SPOLIERS!!!!!!

A woman who was just gang raped, choked, beaten, shot, stabbed, manages to kill and outsmart professional killers. The S&M guy and his henchman were extremely stupid.
Also she is a better shot, a better marksman and a more strategic killer then professional killers and SWAT personal, even though the first time she picked up the automatic she didn't know how to use it (The butcher assassin). and the Assassin couldn't stab Everly with the other Sui sword.

The police know that this building is a hooker hotel and came in, saw all the bodies and left. But in the end when Emma calls the 911 and SWAT arrives. WHAT???? why wasn't Swat there the first time. After the old lady called the cops and there were gun shots heard for couple of minutes? when they evacuated the whole building, why wasn't SWAT there then?? because it was only a handful of bad cops? well where did they go? why didn't she just use the machine gun to gun them down?

Now Everly is not a trained killer, assassin, an undercover agent, or from what we see an even trained athlete. Not only that we are to believe that a normal person who is tired bleeding, only gets more energetic and stronger, smarter the more she is hurt.

Overall this film was terrible. I mean if she took some drugs or something to explain her constant strength and her increase in being an instinct in killing and surviving, Just look from how she survives the accidental victory from Butcher assassin to how she outsmarts professional killers who came in after gas bombs. While they had masks on she was fine running around and seeing them with her bare eyes not to mention no coffining

OVERALL this film is 2/10 for Selma's body.

How can anyone think this is bad?? Salma/action - Salma/more action - Salma rocks and I would pay to watch her do laundry!

she's a terrible actress and the film is poorly written, really uneven, and loses its steam far too often for its run time.

salma would be fine if she was just walking around in her underwear for 90 minutes, but the problem is that she covers up too much, talks too much, sits around doing nothing too much, and whining too much, and thats why its a bad movie.

this would have been a great short-film if everything was condensed into, say, 20 minutes and she was in her underwear the entire time...

did you even see the movie?
1.. covers up too much? wtf. The first half she is in a night gown, and the second in a tank top and yoga pants. what more do u want?
2. sits around? did we see the same movie?
3.. whines? Never. she had balls, andd some big ones too.

I will too, but it seems the only reason it has a low Metascore is the 2 0's. Take those out and this movie would have decent reviews.

I gave it a 9 because it was such fun. Dead whores! Yes it was ridiculous, but it has lots of shootings and explosions. And dead whores!

Worst Movies of All Time:
1.Dragon Ball Evolution (Bad Acting, Writing, and Action/Kamehameha is now a one time move.)
2.Last Airbender (Terrible Acting, Writing)
3.Lucy (Poor casting for everyone except for lead, terrible script and ending, too many plot holes)
4.Frozen (Inspired a generation of two year olds to build snowmen and sing cheesy songs. Also it is WAYY over hypped and overrated)

This movie was 10/10 ( Just kidding).. Because it teached me how to clean my hallway with granade.. Bon(zs?)ai ball... ===>> BOOM ==> and the hallway was cleaned "not a single blood spots on the walls"

Srly.. I would say this movie was really 1/10.

1. why did she have so many guns laying around the house?
why did she say she had a different treatment from the other girls?
why was she the main villians favorite?
did u ever ask urself those questions.
I came to conclude that she was an assasin, and that she would handle certain tasks for the mob. But when he boss found out she was speaking with detectives and planned on betrayin him, he let the dogs out.
2. As for the swat. The boss was dead, so the bad cops had no way of redirecting outside forces.

ridiculous
the soundtrack went hand in hand with the pace and action scenes.
the cinemetograpy was top notch.
the acting from Salma was overall good. And she was hot. I mean bouncing jiggs, wink wink.

if anything, the movie should have revealed her as an assasin without having people use their heads and discover it themselves.

i hope she was an assassin, that would make sense for the movie.. but i don't think she was, do you remember when she got thrown by recoil from a SMG at the beginning? 

only someone with experience will know how to even shoot one of those pieces

I thought this film was absolutely the worst piece of trash I've ever seen. I don't love or hate Salma Hayek, but she has to be better than this. I feel like this movie was so bad, it could very well end her career and have her doing a reality show, shortly. As others have stated, there were tremendous plot holes, inconsistent story telling...oh...there was no story and ultimately, it was just silly. The action was foolish at best and then the ending hinted (much to my chagrin) that there could even be sequel. Seriously, this was so bad that had I been a production assistant on the project, I wouldn't even put it on my resume.

I liked it. It was a fun movie. I didn't think I was going to see an instant classic that fans and critics would rave about for the next 100 years. I expected scantily-clad women, a bit of humour, lots of violence, and lots of blood, basically a live action comic book. I got what I expected, and enjoyed it quite a bit.
