The film has its issues to be sure, but I've see much worse from directors who have far less of an excuse than this one!
Totally agree. I heard it was good so I gave it a go. Time I will never see again.

This movie was awful! It had no point whatsoever, not even a fun kinky film or a cautionary drama.
There was literally NO plot! The character has no catharsis, no nothing.
I want the hour + of my life back.

Heather Graham, the screen still loves her face, she can still turns heads.
This movie is garbage and the protagonist is just a whore, she does porn and she never regrets it? In the end she argues with her boyfriend and then she moves and keeps doing porn and then the movie is done? When she was supposed to realize what she's doing is wrong? The movie just ends up putting porn into a good light, when it's supposed to do the other way around
You're saying that the movie is supposed to support your puritanical condemnation of the adult business. And of course, you understand it better than the woman who co-wrote the script, who has been in the business as performer and director for over a decade. And who, by the way, earned bachelors and masters degrees while she was working in the business. It's a fact that many women who work in porn feel empowered by their work. Sorry if that doesn't fit your self-righteous moralistic view, but other people are entitled to their opinions. The people who made this movie presented their view of the business, which is their right, regardless of what you think they were "supposed" to do.

This film wraps everything up in a nice bow, which was completely unrealistic
She ends the relationship with the only character in the movie who actually loved her because she found him beating off to her porn.
So because of that she decided to turn gay and go full blast in the porn industry.
The movie literally has everything falling apart for her at the end, but she runs into the arms of Heather Graham and it shows her in the end, Behind the camera and not in front of it anymore.
So unrealistic.
The movie literally takes you to the part of a Porn Stars life where everything goes sideways, but then ends the movie with, a "Hey all its fine, she found love and got out from in front of the camera".
This movie as another poster noted, seems like it was Directed by a guy with no balls and a girl-on-girl fetish, or a woman who didnt want the scenes to get "too erotic", and wanted a Happy ending.
I watched this for Hoosier girl Ashley Hinshaw, Heather Graham looks nice and what was the Million Dollar Baby thinking? Probably needed a paycheck...
