Okay, Devan was still alive, so who was possessing the kids? And with whom was she communicating on the ouija board? Who wrote on the ceiling? The priest apparently came back to life (no pulse/fixed stare/motionless)?? Why did HE kill one of the teens if he wasn't involved in the demonic (?) plot?

I understand that, apparently, a live person was coordinating restive spirits, but they seemed to be communicating with her, even though she was standing right there in front of them. Also, the priest seemed just as evil as she was.

Although the film is heavily censored in my country, I don't think he killed anyone besides stabbing Devon and appearing out of no where and literally scared the chick's boyfriend to death. He placed Rory into the box to protect him.

He didn't kill anyone. Brad killed himself, he tried to protect Rory by stuffing him in the crate, Brian got jacked by Patrick and Reign, and Amber fell victim to her friends also. He tried to kill Reign, but wasn't the reason obvious?
