I think he should of told his son about the affair.

I don't know about you all, but that is how I feel. If my mom or dad had an affair with my current boy/girlfriend then I'd like to know that, so I could make my own decisions on what to do, rather then to keep everything 'peaceful'. It's just horrible if you were to ever find out about something like that, but it is better to hear of it sooner rather than later or - in all honesty - to never know about it at all.

I hated the last part when she explained to the father that she loved his son, and that in a way the son was like the father, it didn't make me feel any better about the situation at all, I don't know if it was meant to make you do feel better about it, but that is just how I feel with the whole thing. What's your opinion?

Yeah, I really didn't feel sorry for Rusty.
If he had kept his controlled his urges in the first place, the outcome may have been different.

I would have blown that wench out of the water. I would feel bad for my son, and would not want to hurt him but I wouldn't be able to keep that from him. It is kind of skeevy; soap opera type stuff. How could Anna go from one minute that she is obsessed with Rusty and wants to be with him forever (if they got rid of the wife) and then suddenly the son is the love of her life? Yeah, right!

I thought the poor son, she will no doubt cheat on him with the dad in the future. Just what kind of woman can go from one to the other so fast yet stay so close. Also she should say something to him about it. she not doing so says she is afraid of telling him the truth, maybe she feels she will loose him and can't bear that. But one can say she is starting out there relationship with a big lie and that is no way to ever feel right about it. She will walk on egg shell for the duration of there relationship and the longer it goes the more hurt he would be...................................OR.....................................

One can look at it from another point of view and say he gave his son to his lover he loved as well as he gave his lover his son whom he loved also. Maybe it was out of love that he stayed quiet. She will love what she had with him because only she knows what he did to be honorable for both of them. She will never say anything because she was not the honorable one by even sleeping with a married man or even worse sleeping with your lovers son. Everyone won in the end.

Hey once a cheater, always a cheater. It is very rare that a person cheats with someone and it is a one-time deal. I mean, if the relationship lasts a long time, I guess the uneasiness would subside some, but I just don't get how this could ever be a comfortable relationship. He is going to be so pissed at Rusty if he ever finds out.

It may be not as bad as all see it, if she truly loved both men at some point. We have to remember she is not a morally straight person anyway the kids will look like the dad and grandpa. She would have to love grandpa dearly if not more to be comfortable in this relationship as she will see Rusty for the rest of his life.

The character was a bit of a dirtbag and then wants to save his relationship with the son.
