Directors Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky are shameless liars

Willfully lied and smeared the "ex-partner". The ex-partner did approached the directors to give them his side of the story, but the directors not only ignored it, but had the nerve to put in the credit that the ex-partner refused to participate in the film. When this shameless lie was brought up by the screener attendees, the directors blatantly said they're not interested in the ex-partner's story because it would make the film less interesting. The directors need to be sued for slander.

The person saying they tried meeting with them isn't the ex-partner. Those tweets also never address what the lies are, I'm not even sure what they could be.

reply

I thought it said in the credits that they didn't ask him to participate.

reply

No, it said the partner "asked not to participate" in the film.

Movie makers often might distort events or leave out certain details ir order to get a little bit more drama. This is about as much of a movie as it is a documentary.

reply

This 'crockumentary' was made by hipsters...and I have yet to meet one that could give a straight answer yet give some semblance of 'the truth'

They (crockumentarians) are more concerned about some semblance of drama, so they'll bald faced lie.

I am glad I didn't pay a red cent to these douchebags.

reply

can some one give us the truth and i think the movie was 90% right.

reply

If you guys know anything about reality television, you'd know that this movie was about 30% right about everything.

For example:

- Penny Arcade guy was reading from a card.
- None of these guys made it rich.
- 1 of these games is actually interesting, Fez (my opinion)
- There is no innovation in stealing the game mechanics of other games (except Fez)
- This movie is to make silly idiots want to design video games and to "make it", but in reality, you have about as much of as chance as an actor trying to star in a major movie role.

They also had the balls to grab easy money on Kickstarter to then get rich off of simple people's money. Classy.
