I have to agree with mycrash that "Good Morning, Killer" was poorly written and disappointing. I watched this made-for-TV-movie because Catherine Bell was starring in it. Thought I'd enjoy the movie - as a fan of hers since JAG, there's a certain level of professionalism in the productions she chooses to work in. But when the screenplay/ writing is awful, as it was for this TV movie - even the best actors can't save the piece. Wish I could be more positive about the movie.

Oh my, yes. It jumped all over the place. Scenes/plot came out of nowhere. Felt like I was watching at least 3 different movies. Or, one really long movie cut and pasted together to be half its size (or less).

Not sure the writing is at fault so much as the director or producer who edited it all together.

If you can't walk and talk/text at the same time, do the rest of us a favor and get out of the way.

I agree. I also watched just because of Catherine Bell and I am disappointed; not by her but by the writing or whatever. I have not yet looked at who the actor is that played the bad guy, but I think he was exceptional.

I think what made it confusing was the fact that GMK is the second of the Ana Grey series of books. The first one is "North of Montana" and sort of intriduces background on Poppy and her co-workers (especially Barb and Donato). I have a feeling they sort of mixed the two books together for the movie...

- the birthday cake scene with Poppy is in the first novel not GMK
- Barbara and Donato take a back seat in the GMK novel yet they are in a heap of scenes in the movie
- there is a whole new side story to Ana and Andrew's relationship (or lack thereof) in the novel which is not sighted in the movie..

just a few things I have noticed

well said rachelle. read the book it is very well written. The fast moving film jumps about but that is the intention. The second storyline from GMK explains the title and things which come up in later stories. Like Ana shooting a cop.

Yep, this was really poorly written movie.

One of the more memorable scenes that was unbelievably bad was where Ana is pissed that the rookie went behind her back to her boss and tells him that and suddenly starts to talk about patriotism and how some people have it and others don't. After that scene, I was like, what the hell just happened.

Watching it in 2015. Poorly written. They think they know where the girl is, she tells her boos that "she knows the guy, wait until I get there," yet when she gets all the way to Culver City, and they say they have to secure the perimeter, she tells them that will take too long?

Not good.
