I was fixing to channel surf when the pre-show commercial aired and I was hooked. It reminds me a little of "Murder, She Wrote" and was just what I needed to help me wind down. (It was also interesting to see Scottie Thompson do something post NCIS.)

I disagree. I've read all of MHC's & CHC's books, but this is the only movie I've ever seen of any of them. I thought Kathy Najimy was a good Alvirah, and everyone else was fine. It was interesting to see Carol Higgins Clark as the bartender!
