I know she has looked better but man did she kill in the LADIES WHO LUNCH. WOW!!! Very impressive performance. I was one who saw her on broadway in Sweeney Todd and was miserably dissapointed both in her performance and in the show. I couldnt believe she was the same incredible singer who had dazzled in EVITA and SUNSET BOULEVARD among other great performances.

Well seeing her deliver in company was a total pleasure. Kudos Patti! What a joy to hear her voice deliver an A performance.

I was absolutely stunned by her performance. I just got home from seeing it in a cinema, and the entire audience applauded, even though it wasn't live. I've never heard so much pain and pathos in that song.

Honestly though, I thought the whole thing was amazing. I adored every character and every song, even the ones I have never really liked before. I was in tears by the end. Just beautiful!

I thought she was the best thing in it. The test of the production disappointed me though. It's like they couldn't get any of the subtext behind the songs. Like "Side by Side" is NOT supposed to be a happy peppy song for Bobby.
