How is Darwin (the gold fish) related to Gumball (the blue cat? I thought they were just friends but it seems like Darwin is a sibling.

Gumball's mom had an affair with an orange or something. I think gumball and the baby rabbit know but they don't say anything. If the father knew, it would kill him.

Darwin is the family's pet goldfish who evolved legs. When this happened, the Waterson family adopted him and he became a brother of sorts to Gumball.
