Seriously - the one with Gumball getting his picture taken - specifically the weird prosthetic face look, is lifted directly from Dexter's Lab.

Finally saw the episode yesterday; it had some similarities, but was ultimately it's own show. Even the one bit that was pracitcally similar (the prosthetic face) was handled completely differently. A few similarites does not a rip-off make.

If the producers of Gumball watched Dexter, then the episode would be an homage to Dexter, not a rip off. If they didn't watch Dexter, then it's a coincidence.

People are far too liberal with the phrase "rip off" now. It's actually embarrassing.
Seriously, the slightest similarity is apparently criteria to call something a "ripoff". I'm surprised people on these boards aren't calling Desolation of Smaug an ripoff of Dragonheart because it has a talking dragon.
