Gets me every time.

It never fails no matter how many times I see it, the original and now this one, when they are in the gym, it is like I keep hoping that Sue is able to stop that bucket from falling down. At least in this one they let the gym teacher live and Carrie was more select about who she targeted.

I like both movies, but this one is better than the original. Funny, Nancy Allen who played Chris tried out for the part of Carrie and Sissy Spacek for Chris. But Brian De Palma switched them and they both did a very good job.

That not true at all. Sissy went in for the role of Carrie and no other.

and youre dumb if you think this one is anywhere near as good as the 76 film

It's "you're" I find that those who say things like that "youre dumb..." end up sounding like naughty little children who take their ball and go home if they cannot be quarterback or take their dolls and go home if they cannot have their way. It's like those people who say they come from "he school of hard knocks" you end up sounding foolish. I can think anything I want and while I do like both films, I did think this one was a tad better. It's a freaking movie not a debate of whether climate change is real. Duh.

The original is superior (that's for sure) but calling someone dumb just because they have a different opinion is childish if not a little sick.
