MALE RAPE? Joe on the train

The scene where she ends up sucking off the married guy on the train was, from how I perceived it anyway, an example of rape and how male rape committed by women is kind of ignored or considered acceptable...the guy did NOT give consent, at no point in time(the first time with her friend OR with Joe) did he ever say anything but NO, PLEASE STOP, DON'T, etc...even WHILE she was sucking him off! Joe just took advantage of him, it seemed...I'm all for embracing female sexuality but this scene was NOT consensual, if it had been a married woman on the train denying a male pursuer who then took advantage in that way I think more people would have noticed...

reply

yep that was most definitely rape

reply

It's a great fear of every middle-age man I'm sure that a pretty teenage girl will give him an unsolicited blow-job.

reply

Does that make it any less rape? Just because underage boys might enjoy having sex with teachers, is there an acceptable double standard for women as opposed to men who engage in that activity. You are a simp

reply

If this man felt that he had been raped. Then yes, it was a rape. If he did not feel he was raped, then we have to accept his point of view. The audience will never know.

reply

That's how we can excuse false rape accusation, which can destroy entire lives. Tell them that the woman considered it rape when she kept saying, "Yes."

Say that in any rape case in a court anywhere to enjoy healthy doses of ridicule..

reply

So it's ok for really hot guys to screw ugly women without permission?

reply

Yes, you are starting to get it now. This would have been male rape if the girl was ugly.

WTF?

[deleted]

That is the funniest thread I read on iMDB. Lazarillo's comment is good. Rape?? Are people saying it is a rape actually serious? Well, ok, I will give you that: she raped his values.

reply

Misplaced and irrelevant sarcasm.

reply

Rape apologist scum.

reply

[deleted]

LOL. Especially on the 5:15!

reply

Yeah, it was and in UK law, there is no such thing as rape committed by a female.

It was sexual assault.

reply

It wasn't really rape. Manipulative and a-moral maybe, but he could have easily overpowered her or just walked out of the carriage at any time.

Basically, his mind was telling him no but his body was telling him yes.

reply

Whether or not most people would be able to fight her off is irrelevant. People have the right to be able to refuse something and not have to physically fight them off. If he pressed charges, she would lose.

reply

You honestly think so? "Yes officer, this 90 pound teenage girl raped me. Ok I could have pushed her away at any time and I didn't but I was still raped."

The police would laugh at him.

reply

The fact that the police would laugh at him is an altogether different issue.

I recommend the Australian film "The Book of Revelation" from 2006. It explores male rape, and I think from this post you'd do well to see it.

What would you do if I died today?

I'd die tomorrow.

reply

It was more of a molestation than a rape. Victims of molestation say their bodies betray them during the act.

I'm not saying this was the case with him, but I'd categorize her "assault" as molestation.

reply

Are you serious? Men can't be raped by women because "He should have fought her off"? If he's saying "No, Stop" and she proceeds to have sex with him, then that's rape. You can't blame a rape victim for not reacting the way you think they should have.

reply

Basically, his mind was telling him no but his body was telling him yes.

That's exactly the sort of thing a rapist would say.

reply

R. Kelly said it. So.

reply

Hahaha what a silly thing to say. What if it was the other way around? That sounds quite like victim blaming. A rapist doesn´t always have to a Mike Tyson type force of nature.

It´s like a police officer asked a girl after being raped why didn´t you kick him in the balls and run off. Sometimes people are paralysed by fear.

reply

In fact, the current view by human rights organizations and many lawmakers is that any nonconsensual sex is rape. Physical resistance is not required to legally call it rape in many countries. It is enough that the person did not consent. It may not even require a 'no', all that is required is that the person did not reasonably believe that the other was consenting. Amnesty International considers any sexual contact without "genuine consent" as rape.

reply

It may not even require a 'no'

Hey, wait a minute. If someone does not say "No" at any time, either with his mouth or with his expression, or by waving his head and left and right in a negative way, how on earth are you supposed to know that he/she declines your sexual advance? How is this "reasonably believe that the other was consenting" exactly defined? This is too vague to be fair, and is fertile for abuse in courts by spouses who were dumped for instance (watch Gone Girl for more on this).

reply

Nonsense. "No" is said by the mind and what the body says, feels or does is totally irrelevant.

reply

He could have stopped her. He could have pushed her away and stopped her. It's not like he couldn't have. It's not like she could physically overpower him. He just sat there and then led her on talking about his sperm count being extremely high at that point. He was practically asking for it.

reply

"Basically, his mind was telling him no but his body was telling him yes."

So if a girls vagina gets wet during rape it isn't really rape...right.
Which is pretty common, in fact many women enjoy the bodily sensations.
I remember it was Oprah in an interview who said that it "felt good" when she was getting raped by a family member. She says she enjoyed the feelings when her uncle had sex with her.

This doesn't change the fact Oprah wasn't giving consent under the law and that it was indeed rape. Same thing for men just because the body agrees doesn't mean the mind does.

Boys/men you need to stand up for your rights.

reply

Of course, but then there's this mentality that males want sex all the time, and it makes it look like a joke when males, even boys, get abused.

reply

What if men reversed that way of thinking? What if we told every rape victim not to come forward because they all wanted it anyway??

reply

I agree

Erik Lehnsherr: You want society to accept you, but you can't even accept yourself.

reply

It was rape. No Means No. 😤

reply

Yeah right ..frail teenage raped an old man with an erection! LMAO!!!!

reply

So its not rape if a man forces himself on a woman and the woman gets wet or even has an orgasm... good to know!

what a bunch of brainwashed feminists (including you males)

reply

Spot on.

reply

Exactly, bro. Consent was not given. I'm sick of double standards for women.

reply

You are legally ignorant and your common sense appears to have been wounded by the femiNazis.

Fanboy : a person who does not think while watching.

At first I was like "she's totally taking advantage of him." BUT he could've easily pushed her off him, screamed, got up, etc. he was erect too. Maybe his mind didn't want it but his body sure did. I wouldn't call this rape. He would've been laughed at by the authorities.

They call me Desiree'. They call me Georgia. THATS NOT MY NAME!

reply

I hope they lock you away soon. That's disgusting.

reply

The "argument" of body vs mind has been repeatedly used as a defense by rapists in courts, so apparently you would also think that if you force yourself on a woman, she does not push you off (for whatever reason, fear for instance) and she is somewhat wet, while she says "No, no, please no, stop..." it is not rape since her body says yes, right? Perhaps you will discover what "legal consent" really means inside a court room yourself then, and leave the body - mind dualities to someone like Descartes.
