The best of a weak trilogy

The third installment has the best acting jobs and the most comprehensive narrative, but this film still has many failings.

I found it problematic that the character of Angela Aberdeen was recast, but that Ameara Lavey is still in the movie, still appearing, I can only assume, as Angela Aberdeen.

Hank Lizzy is still kicking for some reason. At this point, his scenes are far too long and tiring. The gore is over-the-top and foolish and doesn't seem to have any real meaning.

Valetine tries so hard to shock that he becomes lost in the game, yet again.
