...My Life Without Me. Anyone else familiar with the film?

Oh yes!!! I have seen this movie and it is SOOOOOO touching!!! It breaks your heart. I stayed up late to see this movie and it was totally worth it.
It makes you think about life a lot, espacially the little things, so if "Now is Good" causes the same effect it would be perfect.

I am really looking forward to this movie and hoping for a trailer soon!

Very touching indeed especially when Ann sings God Only Knows to her girls...Loved Mark Ruffalo as always...

Actually it reminds me of Kristen Stewart's indie film that no one's heard of The Cake Eaters. She plays a girl dying of Friedrich's Ataxia who wants to lose her virginity. Dakota and Kristen are best friends from acting together in The Runaways, so its a funny coincidence Dakota is doing a similar film (though it looks much less indie and more of a tear jerker)

I thought the same thing.

Sweet November?

reply

Yes, I was thinking about Sweet November, too. But I think Sweet November was much profound in terms of meaning than this British one. Everything was cliche.

Of course, Sweet November is a great movie!

Trailer looks like The Bucket List.

Think cynical thoughts.

I was gonna say A Walk to Remember.

It reminds me of "My Sister's Keeper." The girl is also dieing from leukemia and ends up getting involved with a sick patient and loses her virginity with him at her first prom at the hospital before they both die. Very sad movie too and the actress in it is so good!!
