I like Dakota and Kaya and Paddy and Olivia but I thought this movie was dull as dishwater. The music was so soppy, I felt like I was being emotionally blackmailed through the entire thing. The pretty boy next door just ANNOYED me. Why couldn't he be just a normal ugly boy??
shareJeremy Irvine was my main beef with the story too. I mean he is just too handsome when the book clearly states that he is not really attractive and very normal looking.
The movie was extremely boring when compared to the book that I didn't finish watching it. Oh well, I'll stick to the book.
I partly felt tricked when he became the male lead, I thought the boy who tried to sleep with her in the beginning was going to be the lead.

Agreed. Terribly boring. I was FORCED to skip some parts from many sequences because I knew exactly what was going to happen next.
I gave it 3\10 only because of its beautiful cinematography.
It was an utter waste of time.

This is only boring for people who aren't into slow-moving films. These are the true gems of the film world and are usually the most inspirational and beautiful. This film was probably one of the least boring I've seen in ages! Very emotional, inspiring and insightful.

I agree with you about the movie being boring. It was a sick, twisted story really, with no real point to it. Just melo-dramatic nonsense.
