Tries a bit too hard...

I like cop movies and I like comedies, but this one tries a bit too hard. Sometimes, it feels like a spoof and, at others, completely forced. I wanted to give it a try because I liked Omar Sy in "Intouchables" but not so much in this. No doubt he's a good actor. This just isn't right for him, I guess.

Yeah, when the French try hard to emulate an American-style film, it makes me think "Aw, how cute, they are trying to make an American movie."

Where can I find this movie with English subtitles?

I saw it on Netflix streaming. They randomly discontinue movies seemingly for no rhyme or reason so it's possible that it's no longer available.

Thanks you mjd_subs2. I just checked Netflix and it's still there. Better watch it before they really do take it down.

You're welcome. Come back and let us know what you think of it. ;-)

I thought that Omar Sy was the best part and also the ONLY likeable person in this movie, his white partner was a dick that deserved to get ran over by a tractor

I also thought he was quite funny, the plot coulda been a little better tho

You gave yourself a name. I gave mine up.

The Omar Sy character had a boulder on his shoulder that annoyed me though. The scene where he is taking pictures inside the police headquarters and the cops tell him to stop and ask him what he was doing there perfectly exemplifies it. If he had just said "I am a cop too, here is my badge" the situation would have been solved immediately. But no, he had to act like a prick and yank the other cops' chains as if they had something wrong.
