WTF why remove drop zone??

I thought infinity ward couldnt f!!k up anymore but no they decided to go and remove one of the best game modes they have. The reponse that this has had on their facebook and twitter pages says it all.

Why not just have Infected and drop zone in the community playlist? What would be the big problem in doing that. Drop zone became my fav game mode and in my opinion its alot better than their other new modes kill confirmed and team defender.

BRING IT BACK FFS!!!

I get what you mean, but you should give Infected a chance. The games are short and you get a ton of xp for surviving. I went 5-1 earlier today and my xp for that match was 4500ish. Plus I've only lost one match because everyone usually gets infected.

That's odd because we in the PC community is still playing drop zone. We haven't gotten a infected playlist update... yet.

Ive got nothing against infected I actually really enjoy it. I just dont understand why they couldnt have kept dropzone in the community playlist as well. Robert Bowling has been saying all along that they will be adding game modes to the playlist, well thats not adding thats replacing.

It'll surely be back though. Maybe they're doing each mode one at a time to gauge popularity and look for emergent gameplay from the players, etc. Eventually they'll probably all be on.

I agree with what you are saying. They could have kept Drop Zone. I imagine IW is trying to keep thing fresh by adding new game types. It reminds me of what Bungie use to do with Halo. People get bored of the same game types eventually.
