For the most part, I've given up on this game. Unless there is a party playing it.
I couldn't give a crap about playing it solo.

I never play solo, but I get a text from someone pretty much every night. If it weren't for playing with friends I would've quit COD after MW2. I don't think there will ever be another great one. IMHO it's the players that have ruined the experience, not the makers.

I think it would be nice if they would make a mode with no explosions. They have barebones where the strip out the killstreaks, why not one without tubes, RPGs, smalls, etc.... If they leave killstreaks they can leave the stinger, gernades can stay or go. I think I would enjoy a mode like that, but still not sure how well. I miss days of playing an objective match and it just being an all out war. Now you play drop zone, for example, and you get three or four people sitting outside the smoke sniping it and blowing it up. We win by 7000 points, but it's just miserable. The other team is content because their K/D is 3:1, but all they did was shoot people that had to go to an area to win. Just weak pathetic people looking for a cheap kill

It's just the air bourne launchers I have a problem with.
Claymores and grenades are all ok by me. Particularily when I die because someone has thrown a perfectly timed cooked semtex or a semtex throw with a great arc.

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 1 and 2, you could do exactly that. Why no other war games took that concept is beyond me because it truly would make them more enjoyable.
