Where did he flee to?
I wish Brenda had just killed him in The Closer. So he's in Major Crimes too???? I hate these arcing episodes!

He's in the 5th season, but I've only seen through the 4th episode. He hadn't shown up yet but Rusty was doing research about all of the people who once knew Stroh who are all turning up dead from suicide or freak accidents, so Rusty thinks Stroh is back in the US killing them.
If Brenda had killed him back in the Closer, it would have dramatically altered the Rusty character arc so i'm thinking that's why they kept him alive and had him escape.
shareFrankly I could do without the Rusty character. There would be enough in every Major Crimes episode without him. He's kind of a distraction.
shareA lot of people seem to feel that way about Rusty. Actually, I was curious about his future and that was the main reason I started watching MC's.
I found him more interesting as a street kid. The way they had him make a 180 personality wise, is a bit unbelievable now. He's completely benevolent. I just don't buy it and that to me is distracting. I feel the same way about Sharon. She has no faults. She was more interesting when she started on The Closer.
Ha! Interesting! I hated her on The Closer, but like her in MC. Good point about Sharon having no faults. I'm on the third season of MC.. . maybe things will change. I love the guys on the show especially Flynn and Provenza, also Fritz, Tao and Taylor. I miss J.K. Simmons.
shareYeah, Chief Pope was good. I got the first 4 seasons off of eBay for like $25. They all play fine. I don't have cable so that's what I do when I like a show. I binge watch it on DVD.
Flynn and Provenza are funny. I especially like Provenza. He's funny. They get really funny guest stars too. The “intuitive life strategist” in the first episode was hilarious. I think he's famous but I don't watch a lot of shows or movies. The actors who played Lloyd and Shampagne in I, Witness were also really funny.
One thing Sharon actually seemed to kind of mess up in her life was falling for a selfish, narcissistic, back stabbing gambler. They seemed like such an odd couple. So do her and Flynn.
I get my dvd for the show at my local library. It they don't have it they will get it from another library. That's where I get all my tv series on dvd.
