Invest in security???

You would think that after the second..third..or fourth break in these two knuckleheads would invest in some real security..or live in a gated neighborhood with 24hr security. You would also think that since many people knew of the legend of the teapot (books were written and historians knew) that hundreds if not thousands of people would come looking for these two idiots once they broadcasted their teapot on national television. And wouldn't it just be a good idea to just get a job at a hospital and have the teapot at all times...all of that suffering would bring them millions and they wouldn't have to do dumb crap anymore. Also they couldn't put their money in the bank but they bought million dollar houses in their names?

AMEN!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing after the first assault. If they had private security. The guards would beat up people and the tea pot would make them money.

It seems as though they weren't exactly all that smart, despite having degrees. To me, the first thing I would have done is ensured I wasn't just spouting out "Oh, hey, look at me! I have money!". It would have been smarter to invest in things that made them rich, but still kept things to a minimum. A decent house and car would have been less suspicious than a mansion. I hate how characters always act so dumb in things like this. I've seen Hollywood stars that don't do dumb things like this. They live in apartments and drive a decent car and just invest their money into savings. It always irks me how dumb the characters can be.

In my case, I would have had a great idea to make money: fix myself and my family's horrible health issues. Between surgery, joint replacements, alternative medicines, and therapy, that would be tons of pain for years. Then start working into charities that help others and go around to the places where I helped said people and, Voila, more pain equals more money. It would be less suspicious than me just going around and hurting myself, plus it would help everyone out.
