Five weeks from tomorrow this film is supposed to FINALLY be released. After so many crappy looking straight to video "sequels" I'm excited to see one that really counts. According to the director in one interview the reason for the delay is politics and not the movie itself. I hope this is truly the case and not something he had to say for legal reasons. Just five more weeks!

shareThey pushed it back again. June 2017 is the release date (for now, until it gets pushed to 2018). Dimension Films always do this stuff with their sequels. They're sneaky, lazy and greedy.
shareI won't believe any release date until they actually play it at my theater! Dimension Films delay this film so damn much, I'm not even sure if they will stick with the June 30 release. They beginning to sound like the little boy who cry wolf.
At this rate, I won't be surprised if they finally release this film in the year 2019 or 2020.
OP: Looks like you jinxed it, dude :-/ Dimension (wish they would die-mension): You greedy corporate, capitalist pigs... If you're so gun-shy about releasing this and have so little confidence in it to make money, just please put us all out of our misery and "leak" the film to the internet. I won't tell if you won't ;-) I'll finally be able to watch it and then kiss this f'd up world goodbye and die in peace. Vs being a vengeful Japanese type ghost (only male version, but still with long hair, hippie 4 life you pretentious, Type A bastards!) having to stick around haunting this imdb craphole due to the unresolved issue of never having seen this movie (I want my Bella & "Jerome"!), haha.
