Yeah I thought it was the Coppola movie, and was surprised how mediocre it is.. and no Emma Watson? Hm.. Oh God, it says 2011. NOO WAAYYYYY I am the dumbest person in the world. But I had no idea two movies with the same name and plot were made only 2 years apart. I do feel like a complete idiot now, though.

I guess you just want to start an argument with that, but I'll bite. No, I didn't see the movie because of Emma Watson, but because of Coppola. But I knew Watson stars in it, so I was perplexed as to where she is. Didn't know the other actors, which is why I didn't realize I watched the wrong movie until too late.

Lol me and my gf went through the same and I was "what tha heck, how come this movie is from Sofia Coppola, it looks like a bad Disney series"! Until we went to Imdb to figure if we were just not getting it and figured the mistake. In just glad we were not thinking it was some irony and genre play of genius Coppola.

I watched this as warm-up for the Coppola movie, which I am hoping to see soon. I was quite satisfied.

Me and my girlfriend watched it by mistake too :) First time ever in my life I done something like that. No wonder the subtitles did not match very well ... (we thought we got a rough copy and turned them off)

Don't feel too bad. I watched the whole damned thing, and then spent ten minutes more scratching my head, trying to figure out how I missed Taissa Farmiga.
