I noticed a few people on this message board saying they didn't know who Jodorowsky was.

I would encourage you to at least watch either El Topo or The Holy Mountain. His films are truly mind-blowing, eye-opening, unlike almost anything you've ever seen. They are jam-packed with surrealism, symbolism, and occult meaning. Jodorowsky draws on Tarot, alchemy, mysticism both East and West, astrology, magic, mythology and Jungian archetypes, all combined with darkest tragicomic view of life.

Jodorowsky makes you realize how the art of film can be so much more than it usually is.

I didn't seen his movie, but I've read his Borgia comics, in french. It was too porny for me, but I found it interesting, I will surely see this documentary, I'm a good fan of Dune.
