LOVE LOVE LOVE this film. All future film students should see this.

I am still lost on why filming the book Dune would expand the consciousness of the planet, let alone anyone, but that (and some of the conclusions on its influence on Star Wars were deeply suspect) are minor points.

Highly recommended.

It is an amazing look at a film that should have – but probably could have not – been made. 9/10 stars from me.
