During the episode, Kenda said that both subjects said they were 17 years old when apprehended, which extends them certain parental rights during interrogations. Looked up the appeal for Nicholas. The entire appeal was based upon him lying about his age and that he repeatedly said he was 18 while being interrogated. What gives?
