Kenda is my favorite show on ID. I realize it's a recollection law enforcement reality show; perhaps a documentary.. with a limited budget. I don't believe it's filmed in the Springs, it's too wet; Colorado (except during snow months which melts fast due to the bright sun and elevation is dry) much of the recreations use late model cars; some perhaps newer than viewers drive. Also, the gas pricing or storefronts (when shown) have current prices. I realize that to show it as it was when Kenda rolled would cost far too much to set the scenes in the 70's-90's. This doesn't pull my attention from the stories much.. HOWEVER, what can sometimes.. is the bit part actors having southern accents. Colorado like any state has people from everywhere; in general there is a lack of accent like much of the West. Did I say I love Homicide Hunter? Joe Kenda and his idioms make his part of the show so much fun for lack of a better word. Well, my, my, my..
His twitter feed had a link to ID to listen to him and then his wife interviewed. His wife is no push over or wall flower. This older gent loves his gal. Makes him more endearing.
