I learned Not to move to Colorado Springs

Too much murder in that town!, Thank God they got Joe there

reply

No kidding. Just last week it was Robert Dear at Planned Parenthood and last month Noah Harpham killed 3 people in a shooting rampage.

reply

lol I've lived here most of my life and I'm shocked at the fact they were able to make a series out of this because it's a very safe town. I do love the show, though.

You are so right. Colorado Springs isn't a cesspool. People forget that Homicide Hunter covers Joe Kenda's entire career. He was a cop for over 20 years. And every major city (yes, Colorado Springs is a city, not a small town) has their share of murders. But our homicide rate compared to Denver's is very low. Unfortunate that we got a freak shouting up a Planned Parenthood which makes us look terrible. If it had been a different kind of medical clinic, it wouldn't have made national news.

reply

Many of the cases are also domestic and not stranger related crimes.

reply

That was over 16 murders a year. Strikes me as a lot for a small city in Colorado.

reply

Obviously, it depends on which part of town one lives in. Kind of like Chicago, or any other city.
