Remeber the year when Abyss, Levithan and Deep Star Six came out?

All 3 of those movies were worlds apart better from this, and they were made over 20 years ago, all coming out in the same year. In terms of plot its closets to deep star six, where they were doing some research or something and unearthed this mysterious creature under the water that then goes causing havoc through out their station.

yeah, i remember that and watched all three recently in that order. i remember liking abyss at the time but now it's just annoying. if the aliens turned out to be like they are in leviathan, it would be a class film. deep star six is just plain *beep* but i couldn't stop watching it.

Don't forget Lords of the Deep and the best film of the lot coming out one year later, Endless Descent.
