Maybe that lady at restaurant was her mother.
I don't think it was family inheritance. Because she mentioned that her parents had mortgage.She just panicked and left to Hong Kong with ~250Ks.
Yea it seemed like some sort off real estate business.

That was her family in the restaurant. She was asking for the 100k from the guy she was messing with that ran off with Ruby. Remember earlier she said he owed her 300k, and he basically said it was more like 100k, Ruby did most of the work. At least that is what I got from the phone call.
