I watched a couple of episodes last night and I was left wondering what it was supposed to be. Is it for people who admire that kind of lifestyle? Is it to laugh
at them, because I'm sorry toany fans of this show, but I found the characters completely pathetic.
If you are a fanof this show, whats the appeal?

I wouldn't say I am a fan of the show. My niece is a huge fan and I started watching the last series at her request when she stayed at mine. My initial reaction was that it was utter bullsh!* and obviously scripted with bad characters, who were spoiled little brats. Then with a little patience and a whole lot of love for my niece. I grew to like one or two of them. I am now watching the current season just for Binky. Still a step up from TOWIE huh?.

People connect with characters. Only the scenes and the setting are setup. The relationships, the people and the conversations are real.
For instance Alex was not told to cheat on Binky. Binky's reaction was very real if you had the pleasure or displeasure of watching it.
Okay, this the part where I sound like a douche but I fail to see the appeal of the characters. The episodes I watched I just wanted to slap all of the characters and I have a hard time understanding why others like them.

I've seen a few episodes now since moving to London. I don't understand what is so great about this show. The show focuses on nothing except these people's fake relationships. Do these people even have any interests or hobbies? All this show ever shows them doing is talking about themselves and their relationships. I remember a show that was on in America for just one season, NYC Prep, about a bunch of rich kids in NYC. That was more interesting to watch than this crap because at least those kids had lives outside of their relationships and had goals and aspirations. The show actually showed them doing things other than just sitting around talking about their relationships!
