What the Hell Are They Screaming?

This show, is chintzy, we all know that.

I'm not here to rip on or support it. I personally hate it, but I know some people like that sort of stuff and find it cute or amusing or something.

Either way, I mostly half-pay attention to the television and switch to Cartoon Network to catch adult swim and this show is on. Most of the time everything is fine and I have no clue, consciously, that it is on until I hear...

"TOTAMANELLI!"

I don't know what the hell they're screaming, but that's what it sounds like and it's bothering me that I can't figure it out.

Its Tulta munille.. a Finnish WWII war cry meaning..really..."Fire at their Balls" How they get away with it....

reply

By the general public's ignorance of World History.

reply

Technically, "ignorance" is the exact term to use, but given the context, this seems like a pejorative.

It is almost as if you are saying "*beep* public schools, they don't even teach Finnish war cries anymore"...and that amuses me.

reply

This show gets cooler and cooler.

Casey strikes out.

Anytime you want to know what they are saying, turn on the closed captions. Everything is spelled perfectly for you to Google it if you have any further questions.

reply

I just translated the phrase from Finnish to English on my Blackberry.

Tulta munille actually means "Fire eggs".

Don't undertstand why they would be shouting that.

I should have known those alien maggots booby trapped this sub

reply

Well, they are kids. "Fire eggs" would probably mean "throw eggs" in youthful parlance. (They don't seem to have any so otherwise your objection seems relevant.)
