Why do people feel the need to say this obvious line on the show when there's an expecting mother and a bad cat? I find myself rolling my eyes whenever this line gets said.
Because not everyone would choose their family over the cat. Just look at the evidence.
It's not that they're choosing a cat over their family it's that the cat is a member of the family and they shouldn't have to choose one from the other. They should be able to do both.
