That dood was a douche. She's better off. He was basically "the jerk bully" from a million movies who always ends up gettin' his in the end much to the audience' delight.

He was such a bully to his girlfriend. My jaw dropped at this line of dialogue:
Ryann: "If I would have to move out, it would be devastating."
Derek: "And I would be able to sleep."
Good grief, dude, she just communicated how much she cares about you and you come back with an utterly self-centered, hurtful comment. If she were me, I might have just ended it right there. Good for her for breaking it off at some point, though.
