How do I keep the neighbors' cat away from my bird feeders?

You have a couple options

1. Move the bird feeders to a distance where the cat cannot reach it
2. If you catch the cat in the act, spray it with water. Bottle or hose. This will require a few doses

Without knowing where or how your bird feeders are attached, it is difficult to advise. Hope this helps.

Well option number 2 is humane and probably rather effective. It's not that the cats want the feeders themselves, they want to hang around close to them. Thanks.

In time the birds will come accustom to the cat being there. Birds are fairly smart. Have you tried talking with the owner of the cat?

Having a cat is no exception to the rule. If it were a dog running through your property, your neighbor would be just as responsible. Good luck with your cat issue.

Common sense isn't particularly common.

But if you can do it better, why not approach Animal Planet for your own show instead of soliciting business on an IMBD board.

Well Gaelin, you are absolutely right, soliciting business herein would be fairly low. However, it was not my intent. As it is all common sense. The show is idiotic,, that was my point. Thanks for the astute observation.

What time do they eat? before you go to bed. do 15 minutes of play time with them. and feed them.

hunt and eat type of thing. make them tired and eat and theyll go to bed

and more they play together, more theyll get along

You must be a very lonely woman, and I can see why. BTW I dont watch it. Also I never said Honey BB was dyfunctional, you did. I think they are fat white trash. And DD is for the other inbreds. I bet you like South Beach Tow as well.

Yes, it is common sense one would think. Most episodes are about violent cats and the problems are mostly solved by making their environment more cat friendly with cat trees and whatnot. That's common sense to you and it is to me, but clearly not for those people on the show as some of them are reluctant to catificate their home because they don't think a cat tree will "go" with the rest of their furniture. They seem more concerned with how their home look rather than helping their cats. They need someone to come over and teach them this common sense.
