Subway scene question
I'm not sure how it is today, but when I lived in Manhattan (1971-1987) it would have been PREPOSTEROUS to arrange to meet someone in a subway train -- not just on a subway platform but IN A SPECIFIC CAR of the train at a specific time. The subways had no schedules and were pretty undependable. So the scene where Maisie is with Lincoln on the train and Margot is waiting for their train to arrive and spots them and just walks right into their car like she knew exactly when and where it would be was just ridiculous. But for all I know the subways have been made to run like clockwork since my time there. Can any current NYC people tell me whether this was as completely unbelievable as I found it, or have things changed so much since then?
