Yes way. If you're an addict you can't use. This is different from substance abuse in that sex is a behavior that the addict can only engage in when he or she is ready. And that is only when recovery has advanced to a point at which the addict is not driven by sickness to engage in it. Sexton is not necessary for survival.

recently watched this thus late reply.
he said one of his "specifics" was obsessive masterbation so for him, he would have to stop to be in recovery, but different people have different addictions so not every addict would have to stop, its just once he did it, it triggered his relapse (which he showed-literally lol-in the film).
