I was surprised by how much I disliked this

No movie featuring Tom Waits can be all bad, let alone one with a hammy Christopher Walken, but Martin McDonagh’s film is never as funny or clever as it wants to be. By the end, it feels like meta-by-numbers.

I thought this movie was good, but nothing groundbreaking. But it wasn't what I would call by-numbers. It's a lot more fun than your average Hollywood flick.
