Killing Angela was the film's low point.

What a hideous and awful script this was. Killing Angela was the film' slowest point. Shame because there was some good humour.

You have successfully put forth zero effort to explaining why killing her was the film's low point. What about killing her was so bad?

reply

To me personally that scene sucked cause I expected 7 psychopaths, and they killed one off as soon as she was introduced. I wanted to see her be psychotic first

reply

That was the funniest scene in the movie!

reply

Yeah I think they did it to make a point as well. When Billy was describing the big shoot out scene he said the dog would have to survive, because they cant kill the animlas...only the women. Lol that had me rollin

reply

It was an FU to the film board that made them rewrite the script. Billy couldn't kill Costello's dog, so he killed his girlfriend instead.

reply

why?

reply

Well he was a psychopath.

It's that man again!!

I didn't like it either. I didn't see a reason for it. She hadn't even pissed off Marty.

But... I wonder...

Were the two hitters in the beginning going to kill Angela? If so, at least there'd be some irony, in that Marty killed them as some kind of moral issue, but ends up doing their job for them, later.

I'm probably putting more thought into this than did the production team.

reply

i guess no one liked it because she was pretty.
But she was in the process of telling Charlie\Woody who had taken his dog.
