No matter how evil the women are and whether the man has done anything wrong the females always win.
They have to otherwise the feminist would get upset.

First, in these kind of films (as also in simple action films) usually audience wants to see villains to be stronger at starting point, so they can feel good when the terrorized ones strengthen up and overcome the threat. And although I risk sounding male chauvinistic, I claim that it is easier to see males as a greater threat to women than the other way around.
Also, try to think of a same type of a movie with three guys being threatened by three mad women what ends with guys killing those women. This would end up being tagged as a totally unrealistic and chauvinistic mad exploitation flick before it leaves the studio. Much more than it is now...
Sometimes it is safer for movie makers to embrace some cliches.

Come on, don't let the obnoxious feminist PC-police make you censor yourself.
Men are biologically stronger, faster, and have quicker reflexes than women. This is an irrefutable fact. There are some exceptions, sure, but 99% of the time the man is stronger.
It's simply sexual dimorphism. Women can breed; men can fight in wars and hunt.
Thought the final fight was stupid; the guy had a huge knife and was military trained, those two girls would have been toast in seconds.
shareThe guy was also insane, and he probably wasn't trying as hard to outright kill them as he was to subdue them so that he could then torture/gloat/make them suffer as much as possible. I think that's the whole point, he COULD have killed them if he'd really wanted to, but he wanted to do more than kill them. He wanted to hunt them. Otherwise he would've just executed them shortly after the girls were captured.
